Will never use Fandango again!!
Will never use Fandango again!!! They don't even deserve one star!! i purchased tickets the night before the show and they didn't send me an email confirmation but just a confirmation after paying for the tickets. I saved it in my messages but when I got to the theater it said it expired even though they took the money ($48) out of my account. I had to buy tickets again and the theater said I would be reimbursed since the tickets I originally bought were not used. Fandango will not refund me the money even though I bought tickets twice for the same time, date and show. No one used those seats. This is extremely poor customer service. I will never use Fandango and again and will share this info with my family and friends.

Wish I would have seen these reviews…
Wish I would have seen these reviews before purchasing. I bought tickets to the wrong theater and realized it an hour or so before the movie. I clicked the "Refund/exchange" link in the confirmation email. I was not able to get a refund and had to buy the tickets. I will never use fandango again and I hope someone reads this and doesn't either.

Poor customer care
My daughter broke her finger by slamming it in the car door while going into the movie. We had ten minutes until movie time. We rushed our daughter to the ER instead of calling fandango of course. While in the ER, I called customer service and they said that no refund or credit could be issued since it was passed the movie start time. Ridiculous….I'll never use this service again and will do my best to ensure nobody else does.

Don't buy through Fandango the…
What a coincidence if you read the review just below me we had the same exact problem. My son purchased the tickets with my credit card we showed up at the movie theater only to realize he had purchased tickets for a theater approximately 2 hours away. I instantly got on the internet and started chatting with the Fandango representative only to be told they couldn't refund the money I even asked if they can exchange for different set of tickets different day different hour and got the same answers no. I will be disputing the charges my credit card company as I didn't receive what I paid for. My advice don't buy tickets through Fandango.

Poor customer service
We were running a few minutes late for a movie. When we got there, we realized we bought tickets for a theater 2 hours away. I tried to exchange the tickets for the correct theater but since the scheduled movie time had already passed, Fandango consistently said there was nothing they could do. I had to purchase a Second set of tickets for the correct movie from the actual movie theater. Those tickets were so much cheaper than the Fandango tickets! I will never purchase from Fandango again for their lack of customer service and their exchange policy.

Refund Denied - Rip off!
Very disappointing! I purchased tickets and couldn’t make it on time for the showing, the box office said they’d refund the tickets but I had purchased them through fandango so they advised that I request the refund with them directly especially since the showing had plenty of seats still available. I purchased another set of tickets through Fandango for a showing that we could make it to so I paid twice! I requested a refund for the unused tickets and was denied. They said that they cannot issue a refund once the showing has begun. So needless to say that I’ll never use the service again. The tickets don’t allow you to purchase the student or military tickets and they charge convenience fees - which would be understandable if they operated under the same guidelines as the theater - unused tickets are refundable. Waste of money, time and energy. I’ll continue to go to the box office and buy tickets that will be refundable/exchangeable in the event I don’t make it.

Horrible website and customer service
You can't even store gift card balances on your account. You have to keep them for the next time. This is on purpose so you will forget and or lose them.

Robbed
I bought two tickets to see the spiderman movie the next day and they did not email the confirmation. They charged money but never gave me my seats. This is a scam, BEWARE DO NOT BUY YOUR TICKETS FROM FANDANGO. Because of the refund policy, I cant even get a refund. They will steal your money.

Never again, fandango rip off
Purchased 2 tickets on fandango for my 17 year old and her friend for a PG movie. The movie theater would not let them in as it was after 6pm and said this was a new policy that any movies after 6 pm needed a chaperone. The girls stood in line at the theater to get a refund and were told we needed to call fandango for the refund. By the time I got a hold of someone at fandango it was 10 minutes after the start of the movie and fandango would not help. “That is our policy” and “there is nothing we can do” was all they could repeat. They could care less if I lost my money. Will now only buy from the theaters themselves.

Fandango should be liable
Fandango should be liable. Their system doesn'twork. Fandango as a company shouldn't be allowed to use such a pice of crap system for their customers, and then avoid any responsibility of a glitch on their system. FANDANGO should not be able to operate. THEY ARE BIG THIEFS. I have been trying in multiple occasions to reach out to then through their interaction system (Fandango system) and it doesn't work. They are letting me for endless time on hold with a message of trying to transfer me to another agent, and it never happen, and eventually the system kicks me out. This is the worst of customer service. Fandango are acting like a thief. All my issue is because of a glitch on their system, is not the customer's fault. I wish Fandango to become bankrupt and to go out of business. Today at 1:01 I purchased a ticket for my 12 years old son to go with a group of friends to watch Spiderman at 1:10pm. After I completed the purchase, I noticed that even though I chose the right seat (J17), the system provided me with the wrong one (N23). As soon as I noticed, I went back into the website and purchased the ticket one more time, and this time, it gave me the correct seat. Right after, I tried to cancel the previous purchase, but the system didn't allowed because it was 1:10pm sharp. I googled the customer service phone number, and by the time a life agent answered, it was already 1:15. I understand the cancelation policy, but at the same time, Fandango should be able to see that it wasn't my fault that the system had a glitch and provided me with the wrong seat. Since the moment that I purchased that ticket (CONFIRMATION #xxxxxxxxxx), it only passed 9 minutes. During those 9 minutes, I repurchased the ticket with the correct seat and attempted to cancel the previous one. I believe that under the circumstances, the least Fandango should do is to provide me with a credit for the $17.77 of my hard earned money, but I'd impossible to reach anyone with two neurons.

I didn't wake up with a dead horse in my bed but all other evidence in dealing with Fandango indicate that they are mob-owned. Perhaps the mob has more morals. Maybe not mob-owned. What would be worse than the mob because that's likely who owns them. Difficult question to answer. Best not to do business with them anyway.

Why don't u readddddddddddddd... every time I do a purchase I read before completing it... ughhhh... thts y u have such bad experience about their service when I know they are just greatttttt... the tickets can only be used on that day... so noooo... reassess n ensure u get your confirmation email

Did you know you Vann send this to your own phone rather than contacting customer care... if that is one of the redemption options then yes it's possible... n the option is seen on the confirmation page
